The Golden Shrine

The Golden Shrine, a small jewelrybox or casket, which is said to have certain magical properties, is missing. It can heal the wounded, recall the recently dead and win the war. Since the Land is threatened by the dark forces of Tharn, God of Death, lead by Draec Half-Elf, the Shrine is essential for the forces of Good. The Golden Shrine has been missing for centuries now and several groups of brave adventurers are searching for it all over the Land. You have just returned from a similar mission, but all you found was evidence that the Shrine was taken by a mage by the name of Jandar Tareth some centuries ago.

The priest of Tirane in Warryon, the Golden City, is asking you all to go to the castle of Jandar Tareth and find the Shrine if it is still there. Godheir, Paladin of Tirane, of course volunteered, as did Lassara, Priestess of Tirane, and the rest of you are mainly going along to help your friends, defeat evil and have a good time. You have been adventurers together for years and would not consider splitting up over one more mission to find a relic of omnipotence...

And besides, there is glory and treasure somewhere out there, says Taci, your halfling fighter (thief...). A quest for magical items and knowledge, adds Zakira, half-elf Priestess of Aivaran. Enemies to defeat, claims Kirth, dwarven fighter. And songs to be written, as Viidan the Bard puts it. No, adventure is in your blood and you could no more let this one pass you by than you could stop breathing.
